HYDERABAD: The State Cabinet on Saturday approved the construction of three super-specialized hospitals under the boundaries of the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) and to modernize the Telangana Institute of Medical Sciences (Tims) in Gachibowli as a super specialized hospital.
Of the three new hospitals, one will be located on the premises of the government chest hospital, the second at the premises of the Gaddiannaram fruit market, from where the market has been moved, and the third will be in the district. from Medchal-Malkajgiri between Alwal and the outer ring road (ORR).
The Cabinet ratified the government’s decision to modernize the Kothapet vegetable market and transform it into an integrated vegetable and meat market.
The Cabinet asked relevant officials to relaunch the sheep distribution program for the Yadav community. He ordered officials to take steps to set up modern hairdressing salons in the villages, as previously decided for the benefit of the Nayi Brahmin community.
It was also decided that measures should be taken to ensure that toddy tappers get insurance immediately, in the same way that farmers’ insurance is paid promptly. The Cabinet also called on officials to take action to pay for insurance for artisanal workers. The Cabinet said the release of an ex gratia amount for grog and fishing workers and the release of funds to the MBC Corporation for the benefit of other hereditary professions should be done quickly.
