Jagan’s Wellness Calendar is Naidu’s Farewell Calendar!

Chairman of the YSR Congress Party and Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, on Friday announced an alternative timetable for the implementation of its welfare programs in the financial year 2022-23, at from April this year.

In a statement to the assembly, Jagan said his government had implemented 95% of the promises it made ahead of the 2019 election over the past three years.

He said his government has allocated funds in the budget for the implementation of social protection programs and development programs.

Despite a sharp drop in income due to the Covid-19 pandemic, his government has not halted social protection programs, he stressed.

Stating that there is not a single scheme that former Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu could claim to bring any benefit to the people, Jagan said that over the past three years his government had recognized every section of the society.

“Our programs speak for themselves. Even those who voted for the TDP are now with us. The opposition is fighting only for its survival. People understood that and voted for us in every election,” he said.

Announcing the welfare schedule for the next financial year, the chief minister said he would bring welfare to the people and “farewell” to Naidu’s TDP. Obviously, Naidu wouldn’t be able to digest the same, he said.
