By Zoila Palma: The Caribbean Federation of Police Protective Associations issued a statement saying that in recognition of the Belize Supreme Court ruling involving Police Commissioner Chester Williams and former President Cpl. Eldon Arzu, he is delighted that work and the interest of well-being have prevailed.

The federation says it is comforted to reach out to Compol Williams to find an amicable solution given the persistence of the situation.

“We recognized that the unstable and unpleasant situation was an obstacle to well-being,” said the federation.

They further urge Compol Williams not to prolong the process as the welfare of the noble men and women he leads matters most.

The federation says it is ready and willing to engage in the process of reconciliation, healing and reconstruction.
